Legacy
A genius of heights, headlined a newspaper in 1989 during the construction of La Grande Arche in Paris, La Défense.
This genius was Xavier Lombard, who started 10 years later its own business, simply named with his initials, XL. Lombard was convinced that access systems shall be designed to perfectly fit its clients’ projects.
He then invented the XL’s modular system. Modules – each of them has a particular function – are assembled together to create a tailored equipment.
XL is widely respected for its engineering talent. Its innovations bring safety, reliability, and address complex access issues in construction and industrial works.
Proud of this heritage, XL’s engineers strive to increase the state of the art, by inventing new systems. They bring ideas to customers, which eventually increase performance and provide more safety to users.
